II Chronicles 5:13-14

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

Music Department

• Our mission and purpose is to glorify and worship God as one body through the Holy Spirit.
• To humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music.
• To lead others into His divine presence through praise, thanksgiving and worship that they may experience the miracles of His love, healing and deliverance.
• To continually seek His guidance in our worship service that we might always bear the fruits of His Spirit.

Practice

Practice is every Saturday from 4:00 to 8:30pm.

Director of music
Joan Makisi

Joan is a teacher by profession but has a great passion for worship. She has written songs and composed music. She comes from a family of musicians. Her son and husband plays the guitar and are a part of the worship team. There has been awesome visitation of the Holy Spirit and move of God in our worship time on Sunday service as well as in the home groups on Tuesday night.

Worship / Music Team

• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
• Must have attended Dunamis
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must complete a successful audition
• Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Saturday evenings, 4:00pm - 8:30pm
• Must be able to sing and hold a note or be able play an instrument with or without notes
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the worship team
• Must be committed to worshipping the Lord
